Finding My Way Home to Self… A Midlife Reflection

There I was, standing in a cold and dark room, boobs getting thoroughly smashed in a mammogram when something so familiar and magical happened.

Connection.

The woman guiding me through it was a few years older than me. We started talking… about our bodies, about systems, about perimenopause. And in that moment, I felt this wave rise up, deep pride, deep admiration, for the women who came before me and for my fellow women of Gen X who have refused to stay quiet.

We now have regular conversations about hormone replacement therapy, midlife, and the transition of perimenopause that are no longer suppressed or whispered in the shadows. They’re stepping into the light.

What used to be endured silently is now being named, explored, challenged.

There have always been women laying the groundwork, but right now?

It feels like a revolution.

And I am honored to be a part of it.

I feel proud to be walking through perimenopause in a way that is radically different from how my mother did… and her mother before her. Less silence. Less shame. More awareness. More choice. More power.

Midlife Collective was born from this exact moment of knowing.

A desire to keep this movement alive.

To sing our way into something new.

To remember who we are.

This is about reclaiming our bodies, not as something to fix or control, but as sacred, intelligent, living temples.

Through somatics, elemental connection, myth, story telling, breath, movement, and deep inner work, we begin returning to ourselves.

We begin birthing a new reality. We reclaim our ancient wisdom.

This is a rite of passage.

And it deserves to be celebrated and honored.

Most of all, this is about community, because that’s where our power multiplies. When we gather, witness, and walk alongside one another, something profound happens: we remember our wholeness.

And from that place, everything changes.

We begin in mid-May with a three-day online midlife course.

From there, you’re invited into a living, breathing community, through in-person gatherings, online content, and spaces that allow you to engage at your own pace, in your own way.

There are also opportunities for one-on-one support, weaving together somatics, trauma healing, breath, sound, movement, hormone therapy, lifestyle medicine, and parts work.

The revolution doesn’t happen alone.

It happens together.

And we would love to have you with us.
